Venetian blinds
Venetian blinds have horizontal slats, the slats can be rotated such that they overlap with one side facing inward and then in the opposite direction such that they overlap with the other side facing inward. There are also lift cords passing through slots in each slat. When these cords are pulled, blinds are raised. Nowadays, they can be used for every window.
They can be moved manually or with the use remote control.
Venetian blinds are usually used as protection against the daily light, they can be easily regulated, and different levels of darkening are possible.
